5Q: How and when do I publish scores?

5A: You are only able to publish one assignment at a time. Make sure that you choose "On Specific Date" and enter the date specified by the building principal (for mid terms, etc.) As of 9/12/07, the date for submitting Mid-Terms is October 5, 2007 and on this date the Gradebook will be "Live" to Parents.

6Q: How can I adjust the set-up of my reports?

7Q: Am I able to copy multiple assignments to other classes?

7A: No. You can copy one assignment to multiple classes.

8Q: Can I publish my gradebook all at once?

8A: It appears that we don't have a version that supports this. If you have set each assignment to publish on the specified date, all your grades will be published at the same time.

9Q: How do I set my scoresheet so that the final grade appears all along?

9A:

10Q: Can I save my class roster info to an Excel spreadsheet?

10A: Yes. When you choose the Class Roster report from the Reports menu, you can select the option to Export to an Excel document. Then you can sort and manipulate the data any way you choose.

11Q: How do I mark an Excused assignment?

11A: While on the scoresheet, in a cell, do a "right-click" (on a Mac it is "OpenApple+Click") and a list of options will appear. Choose Excused and a gray Ex will appear.

12Q: How do I mark a missing assignment so it is reflected in the Final Grade?

12A: Unlike in the answer for 11, a "Missing" does not appear in the list. Leaving it blank will register it as missing and it will appear in your "Missing Assignments Report." However, if you want this missing assignment to be reflected in the Final Grade, it is recommended that you input a 0 and mark it with the "Late" code. This way, you can let students know that it can be

13Q: Can I make seating charts through PowerSchool?

13A: No. This version of PowerSchool does not have this feature.
